Veggie Balls in Air Fryer
This simple vegetable balls are crispy outside and soft and creamy
inside because of the parmesan and mozzarella cheese. The veggie balls
are combination of finely minced broccoli, carrots and mashed potatoes.
Many of us, including me, can’t eat broccoli alone. So, I just added
some vegetables, to make it flavorful. The flour batter will coat the
balls and to keep them in shape when cooking. For the process of
cooking, you can deep fry, bake, or air fry, whichever you prefer.
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ cup finely minced broccoli
- ½ cup mashed potato
- ½ cup finely minced carrots
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
- 2 tbsp potato starch
- 2 tbsp parmesan cheese
Flour Batter:
- 1 cup flour
- ¾ cup water
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- ¼ tsp paprika
- ¼ tsp baking powder
Others:
Mozzarella cheese for filling
Breadcrumbs
Cooking Time:
Air fryer:
180deg for 10 mins (initial)
180deg for 5 mins or until golden brown
Oven: 180deg for 15mins
Notes:
-I spray them with cooking oil (olive oil)
-boil the broccoli for 2 mins and ice bath to stop from cooking
