Tom Kha Gai or Thai Coconut Chicken Soup is a simple, quick yet a
delicious Thai dish. It is a blend of sweet, spicy and sour taste. The
herbs and aromas of lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, and galangal gave a
soothing feeling and extra flavor to the broth. This soup has rich and
creamy taste because of the coconut milk. Actually, this is a comforting
dish especially during cold weather.
Ingredients:
- 2 Cups Water
- 250ml Coconut Milk
- Galanggal
- 300G Chicken Thigh (2pcs)
- Lemongrass stalk
- Kaffir Lime Leaves
- Coriander leaves
- 2 pcs of Chillis
- 1 Tbsp Palm Sugar
- 2 Tbsp Fish sauce
- ½ tsp salt to taste
- 3 or 4 tbsp of lime juice
- Oyster Mushroom
- Cherry tomatoes (garnishing)
