Sweet and Spicy Shrimps is inspired in sweet and sour dishes. A simple
dish can be cook in less than 5 minutes.
With my recipe, I added shrimps hacks on how to achieve moist and nice
texture of the shrimps. And that is-- brine the shrimps before
cooking!! After doing this method, I noticed that shrimps turns out
nice, white and clean. Upon cooking, the shrimps are not shrinking, and
you’ll hear some crunchiness with the skin the when cooking. For the
taste, it has nice, firm and moist textures. In addition, doing this
method, you can easily peel off the skin. We all know that some of us
had a hard time peeling the shrimps. I hope you try this recipe, and

Ingredients:
Brine Solution:
- 4 cups of water
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- cubes of ice
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tbsp soybean paste
- 3 ½ tbsp white sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 500G shrimps
- minced garlic
- minced chilis
- 1 tsp chili paste(I used thai chili paste)
- minced red bell pepper
- salt and pepper to taste
Slurry:
-1 tbsp potato starch
-1/4 cup water
