How to Make Papaya Salad (Som Tum) 

Papaya Salad is one of the popular dish in Thailand and they have lots of variations on this salad. It is often have salty, sour, spicy, and sweet taste which normally eaten with steam glutinous rice. In my recipe, i reduced the chili but you can still add more chilies to make it more spicy. You can also use dried shrimps since that's the usual ingredient for this.. Hope you enjoy my version. Thank you!! 

Ingredients: 

- 2 tbsp lime juice 
- 2 pcs garlic
- Chili 
- 3 tbsp roasted peanuts 
- 2 tbsp palm sugar or brown sugar
- 1 tbsp fish sauce 
- 4 pcs cherry tomatoes 
- 1 ½ cup shredded green papaya 
- 2 pcs long beans 
- 2 tbsp tamarind paste 
- 1 tbsp roasted shrimps or dried shrimps 
 

*Note:

- Soaking shredded papaya added to the crispiness of the papaya
