How to Make Pan Fried Gyoza
Gyoza is a dumpling, stuffed with meat and vegetables. It is either pan fried, boiled or steam. Pan fried is a common type of gyoza which have a thin-crispy at the bottom.
Note:
-In steaming gyoza, maintain low-medium heat, then turn to medium-high
heat once we pan frying the bottom.
- For the excess gyoza, you can put it in a ziplock and freeze it for
1-2 months..
Ingredients:
- 1 cup ground pork
- 1/2 cup cabbage
- 2 tbsp minced onions
- 2 tbsp garlic chives
- 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- pinch of salt
- 1 tbsp water or pork broth
- 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- 1/2 tbsp oyster sauce
- gyoza wrapper
For the Dipping Sauce, you can either buy it to the supermarket or homemade sauce.
Homemade Sauce Ingredients:
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- ground black pepper
- chili (optional)
