Pad Thai
One of the signature dishes of Thailand is Pad Thai. A blend of sweet,
spicy, and sour taste. This is also one of my favorite dishes so I
decided to make my own homemade version. With my recipe, I added dark
brown sugar because I wanted a little bit of brownish color to my pad
thai. I also added, soy bean pastes instead of adding too much fish
sauce. I hope you’ll try this at home.
Ingredients:
Pad thai sauce:
- 1 or 2 tbsp chili paste (add more if you like it more spicy)
- 1/4 cp palm sugar
- 2 tbsp dark brown sugar
- 2 tbsp fish sauce
- 3 tbsp tamarind paste
- 1 tsp soy bean paste
- 1/4 cup lukewarm water
Pad thai
- sauce (the sauce I made is good for 150g pad thai noodles, but you may
reduce it depend on your taste)
- minced garlic
- chop onion
- shrimps
- firm tofu (fried and sliced into chunks)
- 150g pad thai noodles
- 3 tsbp sweet raddish
- 1 tbsp dried shrimps
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 cup sprout beans
- ground nuts
- 2 eggs
- lime juice
