How to Make Tom Yum Goong
Tom yum is a popular Thai Dish, a type of soup with sweet, spicy and
sour taste. Tom means, “boil” , Yum means “mixed”, and Goong means
“prawns”. This dish has lot of variations, either shrimps/prawns,
chicken, pork or vegetables. Tom yum is a blend of different herbs and
spices like lemongrass, culantro, coriander, kaffir leaves, and
galangal. The aroma of those herbs will make the soup tastier that suits
to everybody. You can add either coconut milk or evaporated milk for
creamier version. However, the clear soup is also highly recommended. I
hope you will try this dish.
